"Technologies of Drawing"
Organised by the University of Huddersfield and the European organisation "sculpture network"
15 artists were selected to work in university studios for four days, with an aim to enquire about and represent the idea of drawing across a range of materials, methods and technologies, going beyond the on-going debated opposition between hand-made and digital. This includes observational drawing, digital media, architectural drawing, sculptor’s preparatory drawing, etc.
A day of conferences open to the public on Friday, 26th of August is followed by a day-visit to Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Hepworth Gallery on Saturday, 27th of August.
