Bernhard Heiliger, born in 1915 in Stettin, is one of the most important sculptors of the postwar period. Together with Hans Uhlmann and Karl Hartung, he has established the international reputation of German sculpture post-1945. He died on 25 October 1995 in Berlin, leaving a multifaced half century’s worth of extensive work. http://www.bernhard-heiliger-stiftung.de
