Carl Constantin Weber at Neuhauser Kunstmuehle

The sculptor Carl Constantin Weber exhibits in the Neuhauser Kunstmühle a representativ selection of his works of the last years. Weber, whose producing is especially known in public apearence, shows in this exhibition his mastery in small and middle format.

The favoured material is bronze, he also masters the act of casting with all its finesses. But also a large-sized work in larch wood, produced out of a many hundred years old block, is an essential exhibit. In many works one can see the reference to his big creations for the public space: The "Maypole" in Norderstedt and the "Schleswigerin" may be named as examples for many further ones. Weber's sculptures are made for the interior as well as the exterior room.

The in 1966 as the son of the sculptor Jürgen Weber born artist got his degree for sculpting as a student in the masterclass of Joachim Schmettau at the academy of fine arts in Berlin after his education as sculptor, brass founder and chaser in 1993. In 2000 he was appointed to be professor for basic information of art at the FH Magdeburg and in 2006 he changed to the faculty of architecture at the academy Anhalt in Dessau. He is married, father of thre children and lives in Potsdam.
