It?s not beach art made from driftwood, but art at the beach, which takes place away from sterile galleries and makes contact with the width of the beach and the elements.
The beach alone has a specific claim for the invited artists. Is the artwork lost in the width of the landscape or does it catch the eye? Is the artist looking for contrast or harmony with the landscape? Which requirements have to be met in order to face the elements? These are the questions that the artists have to confront themselves with. Besides that they are asked to freely engage the place of issue.
There will also be some exhibits inside.
