The operation of the Neuhauser Art Mill Gallery has continued since 1989 and was extended in 1997 by the addition of a printmaking workshop.
Today the gallery, as well as the workshop, are in a renovated historic mill building in the Gnigl district of Salzburg. In 6-7 exhibitions per year, particularly contemporary paintings and sculpture are shown.
In addition to the collection of lithographs and etchings, the workshop publishes annually one or two artist’s books. The development of the book form to the book object and the exclusive use of original graphic printing techniques in contemporary form are the focus of these projects.
Since 2010, in the framework of the editorial work in collaboration with various glass works, a series of glass sculptures are produced in small quantities directly at the oven in an intensive collaboration between artist and glassmaker. This project will be continuously expanded over the next few years.
In addition to the art education in the gallery, the Art Mill Neuhauser is represented at various art fairs.
