Dynamic ART Delta Zeeland (NL)

'Wind, water and sun' is the central theme of the second edition of Dynamic ART Delta's exhibition on the shore of the 'Veerse meer' estuary in the southwestern province of the Netherlands. Dynamic Art Delta represents sculptures that move or give the impression of motion. After the first exhibition in 2005 in the former industrial island 'Neeltje Jans', the second follows with monumental sculptures and installations from 10 artists from three countries, visible on a meadow near the yacht harbour Kamperland in Noord-Beveland.

Wind and sun stir the pieces, including the sculpture from the project's initiator and sculpture network member Paul Kamper from Wissenkerke. With the title "'Doorkijk naar...V" ("Looking to...V"), one sees seven rings of reflective stainless steel hung one behind another  which focus the view in the distance. The reflective surfaces mirror also the scenery behind the viewer, making the visitor an integral part of the piece.

Smaller sculptures find their place in the "Galerie de Praktijk" in nearby Wissenkerke, Voorstraat 15. Additionally, other pieces of the artist's work are to be found in  'Druivengaerde', Dorpsdijk 2A , also in Wissenkerke.

The mayor of the municipality Noord-Beveland, H.van Kooten, will open the exhibition on June 24th, 2010, 4 PM, on the meadow.

June 24th until September 5th, 2010
