231 Skyscraper by Lynn Chadwick
Medium:Bronze, Date:1957

 - New sculpture network member

The gallery in Chalford in the Gloucestershire county west of London is one of the few galleries specializing in sculpture in Britain. In addition, it also shows graphics and prints, which are in close connection with the sculptures. Its reputation is based on the exhibition and the purchase of modern works as well as works by contemporary artists.

Regularly exhibitied artists: Anthony Abrahams, Ralph Brown, Jon Buck, Lynn Chadwick, Ann Christopher, Michael Cooper, Terence Coventry, Anita Mandl, Peter Randall-Page and William Tucker.

The gallery spaces followed the success of the Pangolin Foundry, which required a showroom for the cast works - similar to the tradition of the 19th Century. Over the past 20 years, the gallery has incorporated a wide range of functions such as the presentation of large individual exhibitions by renowned artists, including publications, collaborations with other galleries and museums as well as curating exhibitions from other houses and the coordination of public purchases such as an artists' agency.

The foundry itself was founded in 1984 and is Europe's leading sculpture foundry for an international clientele. The foundry caters to works and monuments of all size dimensions with its area of 3,000 square meters.
