Art Meadow (CH)

Sculptures by the Swiss steel sculptor
and sculpture network member Marc Moser

"Art Meadow" is the name of a small sculpture park in the Lake Constance community of Bottighofen, near the German border. From the private initiative of sculptor Albert Lehmann, a lively meeting place has grown in the middle of the village.

For 20 years Albert Lehmann lived and worked in the Piedmont. There he completed his first sculpture garden, created a living and working space for fine artists and sculptors, and organized symposia and exhibitions. Back in his native Switzerland, Lehmann continued the realization of his "dream" in the Lake Constance Bottighofen community.

Since the beginning of July, 12 sculptors from Germany, Italy and Switzerland with 50 works give an insight into their work on the 4,000 square meter lawn in the middle of the village. Now in its sixth edition,  the sculpture exhibition has impact extending beyond the village. It also extends across Lake Constance into southern Germany. The Art Meadow, even without presenting big names, has long since grown to the status of a hidden gem and contributes actively to cross-border cooperation within the arts scene.

The sculpture exhibition in the Art Meadow in Bottighofen continues until 15 October. The Art Meadow is publicly accessible.
